@TheRealJustEx0 Whether a relationship is toxic or underdeveloped depends on opinion though. I don’t think real life expectations should be applied to fictional characters, like how if someone called Amity annoying then that would be okay since it’s just their opinion on a character, but if Amity were a person in real life and someone called her annoying then that would be rude, unless they had a legitimate reason.

Well that's implying that they wouldn't have a legitimate reason for calling Amity's character annoying, which is still rude, just not as rude as saying it to a real person. If someone was annoying I would tell them irl so that doesn't apply to me lol. It just comes down to personal viewpoints. I think ignoring the canon material to form headcanons is disrespectful, maybe you don't.

The main reason I don't ship Lunter is because they're dynamic seems totally platonic to me, like a sibling relationship. In fact specifically in "Hunting Palismen" my cousin @RedHood2009244 and I decided the Luz/Hunter dynamic in the episode was extremely similar to our relationship so- yeah- 😀

Well, “ignoring the canon material to form headcanons” is basically the definition of shipping lol. A lot of the times two characters don’t have any sign of having a romantic interest in each other but people ship them nonetheless. I think that people should be able to have their own opinions on who characters should be with, and I think that most show creators wouldn’t mind since they would like seeing viewers make up their own theories and hopes for the future of characters. Also a lot of the Star Wars fandom ignores canon material to form headcanons, lots of Star Wars fans dislike the sequels and “Disney canon” and form their own headcanon that the sequels don’t exist and that the EU is the canon.

@MacNCheese2932 I totally agree with you. There was a Lunter appreciation post a couple months ago and basically everyone was hating on the ship. I think Lunter is overhated, I prefer Lumity but Lunter isn’t bad.

Lumity is awesome though and I prefer it but Lunter isn’t bad compared to the people *cough cough* shipping Hunter and Belos or shipping Eda and Luz *cough cough* now thats what you call cursed ships
