Thanks for agree with me and I also love Darcy. 🙂
Ahem,
How to explain this is not romantic you ask?
First of all, regarding Willow, that’s just her personality, it by no means is limited to Hunter. Willow’s always been really comfortable and close with her [real] friends, both physically and emotionally, which isn’t necessarily a romantic thing — that’s just the kind of person she is with all of her relationships.
Willow and Hunter are really good friends, just as Willow and Luz are. There’s not much to imply they’re necessarily romantic like there is with Luz and Amity or Eda and Raine.
As for Hunter’s blushing, he’s shown to be naturally an overly-expressive person. Blushing doesn’t always indicate romantic feelings, it naturally occurs to people from other feelings such as embarrassment, admiration, excitement, and love also extends to platonic or familial love. Because of growing up masked and abused to hide any emotion, as well as being sheltered, Hunter doesn’t know how to act “normally”, his facial expressions are exaggerated because interacting with the world is very new to him. He’s shown blushing a lot in the series for reasons extending past romantic feelings, such as blushing at Camila or Luz,
Most likely from simply validation or joy that he has a family and friends (this can easily apply to Willow as well).
Huntlow is purposely left up for interpretation, and I see it as a platonic relationship (with evidence to back that up 🧍♀️) :p
B e s t i e s
I respectfully disagree.
What do you think?
