THE REASONING:

• The current render is from a color sheet, but the patterning is more along the pattern for the Palisman Monster in Hollow Mind, which is NOT Belos before that episode. He got total control of the monster AFTER Hollow Mind.

HOWEVER

• His fully formed beast look has a completely different pattern. It is CONSTIENTLY shown in King's Tide and In the Future.

Could we see them side by side without the poll stuff obscuring it?

The patterning on the render is not based on "Hollow Mind", it's based on "Thanks to Them". For some reason the patterning differs between "Thanks to Them" vs "King's Tide" & "For the Future".

I'm still glad someone else finally took note of it, though.

It seems that this poll is at an impasse, as both designs have been utilized in-series without explanation. While one can speculate about the changes seen between "Thanks to Them" and "For the Future", for now there is no strong evidence presented why either coloring is more valid than the other. As such, this poll will be closed.
