He was literally a background character

I'm well-aware of the fact that he's not an important character, but was it even necessary to have him make a background appearance at the Old Gravesfield Halloween Festival in "Thanks to Them"? He's a school principal. It doesn't make much sense for him to be there since it's not hosted by Luz's school. They could've just used somebody else instead of him.

Well, I'm not sure why he chose to only wear his principal uniform instead of wearing a costume at the Halloween Festival. Well, I know that Jacob Hopkins wasn't wearing a costume either at the Halloween Festival, but still.

How come it doesn't matter? They could've just had one of Vee's friends fill in the background. That one voiced by Zeno Robinson, but he only appeared on a picture and in the end credits, where he was briefly seen waving to Vee and Masha.
