I didn’t want to make this post, but monitoring the wiki for so long, even after the last announcement I had to send out, I’ve come to accept that I need to step up here.
One of the most important wiki policies is to observe civil behaviour. This has been a major problem within the wiki this year, and no matter how much attention I bring to it I can’t keep it under control.
For a basic run-down of this rule; Respect other opinions. Do not cause meaningless arguments or insult people for having different opinions. Simply treat users with respect, kindness, and the benefit of the doubt, it’s not that much to ask.
Because of this site-wide lacking, I’m enforcing stricter rules to hopefully make this easier and less upsetting for all wiki members:
I will be giving individual warnings for every case of disrespectful behaviour regarding other, and 3 warnings = a temporary block.
Temp blocks will start at a week and progressively (but hopefully not) longer if the user in question continues this behaviour and receives more warnings.
I realise this does seem a bit harsh, but I’ve mentioned and warned this MANY times, I don’t have much choice left. Thank you.
