Maybe it’s just me, but I also have seen pride month used as a way to sway people’s opinion on the Israel-Palestine conflict

Now Israel supporters are trying to get Palestine supporters on their side since there was a pride parade in Tel Aviv

I saw so much “REAL GAYS SUPPORT ISRAEL! PALESTINE WOULD KILL US” type of stuff in June

Actually, no. Palestinians wouldn't kill you, some of my friends are Arabs and their pretty accepting. Especially the ones who traveled once or twice before.

2 years and my mom still doesn't know im gay lol

@Timthekittin That's great and all, but... not all of us are so fortunate.

Not like I need to tell anyone I'm ace, I can keep that to myself pretty easily. But places like where I live, well, they're not the best places for queer folk in general.

I mean I don’t go around telling people I’m gay but at a pride festival I felt comfortable introducing myself with my pronouns.

As a genderqueer person that was a little big for me.

My good experiences don’t invalidate your bad experiences.

I came out to my little sibling. Worst mistake of my life. Now any slip up she'd threatened to out me to my religious parents. Still fine though cause over time she'd forget it.
