Disney holds the rights so Dana would need their permission until the rights revert in the terms of her contract. At that point the show becomes her property again to do with as she wills.

Well, when I work at Disney and allow Dana to comeback, we will be making spin off shows for you and everyone else to enjoy. One of them will include Eda and Lillith’s youth when they attend Hexside with the other adults when they were young. But first things first, we need to fix the Owl House series by rebooting it that’ll contain every single storyline and character development that Dana has planned.
