I might actually consider buying a wavy stripes one... I found one on eBay for like 45 dollars?? That seems pretty cheap so idk if that's like a scam or something, I couldn't find any others of that specific one but the other furbys I looked at were like 100 bucks

Maybe I just don't trust eBay in general

Don't know what that model in particular goes for, but I doubt it's a scam -- some common models can go for as low as 20 bucks on the regular, and 45 is still bound to be a fairly good deal for a rare one!

A lot of people price theirs at 100 or higher, but it's usually out of not knowing the true value/trying to milk the vintage status, not actual worth -- so if something seems too high, you might just need to wait a few days and check back, because fair ones tend to pop up!

(also I got both of mine off eBay and they came exactly as advertised -- eBay is known for having lots of protection in case someone is selling something dishonestly, so I wouldn't worry it about it as a platform!)
