Gus trying to impress a group of cool kids, while Luz and Amity journey into the most dangerous section of the library.
Not to mention, the first Lumity scene.

A lot more people forgot that Gus was the A-plot.
I literally said that
No.
You literally said:
A lot of people forget that Lumity is the b-plot
The two statements are not equivalent in this context. My point is that while the primary focus of this episode was Gus learning the history, heritage and true power of Illusion magic by going on a journey to one of Illusion magic's sacred places and getting a power up as a result, many fans have complained that this major development for Gus, a character this show has largely ignored or dismissed, was completely overshadowed by a B-plot where Amity gave Luz a peck on the cheek.
It's the same thing with different words-
I feel old
No.
Your statement suggests that the the Amity B-plot was overshadowed by the Gus A-plot when the exact opposite is true.

Uhhhh no?
It is true
In the Fandom at least
^^ No.
You’re way overanalysing this.
I Species mentioned that most people forget about Gus in this episode because of Lumity
Heck this episode probably could've been split in half with 1 episode being Gus and the other being Lumity
But Lumity overshadows Gus in the Fandom
No one ever talks about Gus when this episode is brought up, and barely even the name is mentioned it's just known as "The Lumity Episode"
@Hawas1983 I think what she's trying to say is that most people ignore Gus' development in this episode and choose to focus instead on the Lumity moments when this is mainly a Gus episode. I'm sure you both mean to say the same thing, although there is a miscommunication somewhere.
What do you think?
