It would have been very interesting if Eda had died/been sacrificed that would have changed Luz a lot and in my opinion made her grow up more and ended her perfect fantasy life which would have been a better plot - just my opinion - but I choose Hunter because I found it unlikely that Luz and Eda would die forever but I could have imagined that Hunter or another character (Raine, Kikimora etc.) would have died/been sacrificed and Hunter is one of my favorite characters.
How confused poor Willow was in the episode and her memories went up in flames I was also afraid that she would have a longer problem with this experience.
