In my personal opinion, I feel like amity is a great representation of mental abuse and the feeling that you need to be perfect all the time, an all or nothing mentality that alot of people in our fandom have to face. and she still holds up in that regard, even when she decides In reaching out not to fully forgive her father when in other shows the character would instantly forgive them, it shows she’s growing and becoming the bigger person ( cough a lesson it seems you haven’t learned if your actually just here to hate on amity )
