Shipping goes against the core principles of a TV shows plot elements.

If a two people aren’t meant to be in a relationship or have no plans on being put in one, leave them alone. Going out of your way to bend the major plot points in a show/movie/book, straying away from the intended purpose, is a major slap in the face to the creator.

This is why I hate ships, headcanons, and fanfictions containing the original main character cast. The only exception I would make to this would be AU’s as they are more so a recreation of the entire plot.

No, I just have huge respect for what people create. Tell me, if you created a show that was an amazing idea and your fans said “It would’ve been better this way”, would you be mad because they weren’t recognizing the amount of hard work and effort you put into the show?

Most of the creatives i've seen enjoy people headcanoning and seeing people interact with the material so i really don't get why you're so offended
