I'm glad she cleared this up. I've been hearing rumors about it too, and as much as I want a TOH spinoff...
I also want to respect Dana's decision. She's right. The Owl House shouldn't be the main center of her career, and as someone who wants to grow up and make my own stories as well, I could see how it would get old to just work on the same project over and over again.
I'm not surprised. Anything with new with toh would be strange considering how they treated season 3
It's official and the creator has spoken and confirmed it. Yet I do respect her decision because working on the same thing your whole life gets old after some time and it's better to work on ideas that are new and give you some sense of joy so you can work on new stories for the world to see.
We've known this for the past 2 years this is not a groundbreaking news... anyone with common sense would understand that we weren't' getting more content

@TheRealJustEx0 While I do agree with you wholeheartedly. You have to admit that some other people were thinking a fourth season was possible, even if you, me or anyone said that there wouldn't be another season as the show is over. So you have to admit that some other people were hoping for a fourth season. Even though you, me and many others knew that there was never going to be a fourth season.
But this is probably a different topic but many know that Amity, Edric and Emira no longer visit Odalia after the divorce was final. Dana never really officially said that Odalia's kids still visit her after the divorce was final or she didn't give a clear answer to confirm it. They knew that Odalia was someone they no longer associate with themselves.
I'm not surprised that we're not getting a fourth season, but I am a little surprised that there's no spin-off because Dana didn't want to answer a few questions in the last Post Hoot in which she also mentioned her HC that the Blight kids still visit Odalia after the divorce because she hoped to be able to work on TOH again one day.
I have no idea what she meant by that - spin-off, books, etc. but honestly, most of us - like me - have already moved on from TOH so it is not a real loss and I am satisfied with how TOH is now even if it has some weaknesses.
I also think it's great that she makes it so clear that she's not just making her career on TOH.
When Matt announced that he was going to make his great epic movie, all the fans went crazy and started conspiring that it would be an Amphibian movie.
You have to admit that some other people were thinking a fourth season was possible
With all due respect those people are delusional
Disney doesn't want the owl house and dana doesn't even work there anymore
I have never seen fans who seriously (!) believed that a S4 would created.
I know the discussions about spin offs, prequels, Comics, ... but a Season 4 after the end of S3?
Nope, never seen it.
@TheRealJustEx0 I actually agree with you wholeheartedly.
What do you think?
