It's pi day today (3/14)
here's a few fun facts about pi and pi day: Famous physicist Alber Einstein was born on pi day 1879, the symbol π has been used to represent the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter since 1706 when Welsh mathematician William Jones. The reason π is used is because it's the first letter of the greek words περιφέρεια and περίμετρος, meaning Periphery and Perimeter, respectively. Pi was calculated to 15 digits by Issac Newton in 1666, though modern computers have found literally trillions of digits to pi.
Pi, as an irrational number, is literally never ending, it keeps giving random digits forever and ever. This was first proven in 1761 by Johann Heinrich Lambert.
Pi is really really cool!
I also made a pi for the occasion!
