No, I meant that when she does it, she asks if they're cute like in a attractive way. Asking, "Are they cute?" instead of saying "Is she/he cute?" shows that she's not attracted to only guy or girl, she's probably attracted to either.

Or maybe I'm looking too deeply into this.
