I think I've had anxiety and panic attacks in dreams before. Likely, since you were actually stressed because of the dream, your body actually did experience the panic attack while you were dreaming.

That makes sense

Alot of the time dreams do try to tell you something or they're based off something. for example, if u go to the bathroom in your dream, means you either erm......used the bathroom while ur dreaming or your gonna need to.

The mind is a powerful thing that not even we understand.

So I think kinda like what @/callistoArt said, you probably had one in your dream, or your js really stressed out.

the panic attack thing is called a nocturnal panic attack, often a symptom of panic disorders or sleeping disorders

i get them all the time and they rlly suck :(
