Yee. I agree. I use she/they and people tend to evenly mix up the she/they pronouns.I like it.

It’s more dehumanizing for you to call them by he or she just because you don’t like to use “them”.

Also, you literally did it in this sentence. “feels like I’m not referring to THEM as human” — you’re perfectly capable of using gender neutral pronouns to refer to a single person, you just don’t want to.
