I assume it’s probably cheaper and more recognizable to animate them in their S2 designs

I am also upset they don’t have the epilogue designs

In S3 Amity’s hair was longer and she had a more complicated outfit similar to Luz, so that would be a lot more expensive to animate and they are probably working these with the cheapest budget possible

Tbf I doubt they'd wanna spoil the epilogue designs on some other show
