That may have been the case back when the only choices for sexuality were "gay" or "straight". It doesn't work that way anymore. There are a myriad of alternative sexualities out there with very specific characteristics, definitions and even flags and fandom is very particular about those details. Get them wrong and fandom will descend upon you as some sort of bigot.

MLM is a broad term for men who love men. I never explicitly said "gay". I am aware of different orientations. Stop jumping to conclusions.
