It wasn't hard admittedly, she loves Gravity Falls and ATLA, so I just had to tell her that 2 major characters are voiced by Alex Hirsch, one is voiced by Mae Whitman, and another major character is basically confirmed to be Stan Pines' ex wife
She texted me this later that day
It worked!

Under Soos' ownership, the Mystery Shack now has a miniature train.
Yes, a miniature train, like the kind you see at zoos or amusement parks. Like full-size trains but small!
The Mystery Shack having a miniature railroad is likely in reference to the real-life Confusion Hill in California, home of the real-life Bill Cipher statue and a major inspiration for the Mystery Shack, which has its own miniature railroad as well.
Talk about confusion, because I can't even tell what this train is supposed to be! It's like a diesel masquerading as a steam engine, I love it.
Anyways, just want to share this little tidbit because I LIKE TRAINS! And now I wish I could go to the Mystery Shack even more just to ride the train!
Also, here's a picture of Alex Hirsch on a miniature train:
Look at his engineer's cap, he's so happy to be there!
If Alex is secretly a railfan like myself, then I respect him even more.
Here is a 1912 illustration of the sinking of R.M.S. Titanic on 15 April 1912, done by the maritime artist Charles Dixon.
However, researchers have recently discovered that a secret message appears on the artwork under a blacklight. The message is as follows:
I always suspected that the sinking of the Titanic had something to do with The Bastard Triangle of England (also known as Bill Cipher).
In fact, Bill Cipher being involved all makes sense... hold on, let me cook...
Titanic was the second of three sister ships built for the White Star Line, the first being Olympic and the third Britannic. They were conceived back in 1907, in response to the rival Cunard Line's new ships, Lusitania and Mauretania, the two largest ships in the world. White Star chairman J. Bruce Ismay envisioned responding to Cunard's new giants with a trio of of ships that would outdo Lusitania and Mauretania in terms of luxury and sheer size. To build these massive ships, he commissioned the Belfast-based shipbuilding firm Harland & Wolff, with whom the White Star Line had a long-standing relationship.
The thing is, though, these ships were so much bigger than any other ship that had been built before them that Harland & Wolff had to completely shuffle its infrastructure, dismantling three slipways and building two larger ones in their place in order to build the new ships. In Southampton, an entire new dock had to be built and the harbor dredged, and in New York, piers had to be lengthened, in order to be able to even accommodate the giant ships in the first place.
You seriously think White Star Line and Harland & Wolff were just able to build these ships all on their own? Of course not!
J. Bruce Ismay may seem like a completely sane capitalist obsessed with size, but what most historians don't know is that he had a BRAIN DEMON!
Knowing that there was no way he could have these ships built by any Earthly means, he made a deal with the triangular demon William Lucipher: the demon would help complete the ships, and in return, the Harland & Wolff shipyard would devote its resources to building a portal to the Nightmare Realm! This is what really happened!
Of course, Harland & Wolff ultimately failed to build Bill's portal. For once, the warring Protestant and Catholic factions in Belfast agreed on something: building a portal to allow a demon to enter our realm was bad juju.
So in retaliation, Cipher decided to do something "silly" (his words, not mine) and have Titanic sink on her very first voyage with a death toll of approximately 1,500.
But remember: Titanic was only one of three sister ships. THREE sister ships... just like how a triangle has THREE sides! Coincidence?
In fact, Bill was hardly done with his vengeance. Just for the heck of it, he sank the third and final ship of the class, Britannic, on 21 November 1916. Britannic's construction had been delayed as they improved the design based on the lessons from the Titanic disaster, and she was unable to enter service as a passenger liner before the First World War (likely another one of Bill's silly schemes) erupted. She would never sail as a passenger liner as she was completed as a hospital ship for the war effort and sank while performing hospital duties.
Bill, in his typical silliness, let White Star Line and Harland & Wolff go through the trouble of building a third Olympic-class liner only to have it never serve as a passenger liner and sink in the war. In Bill's own words: "Tee hee hee!"
Olympic, the first ship of the class, would be the only one to have a successful career. As funny as Bill would have thought it to destroy all three ships, he thought it would be even more ironic to keep the first ship around as an agent of chaos. And sure enough, throughout her career, Olympic collided with multiple ships, sometimes sinking the other vessel unfortunate enough to cross her path, but never sank herself.
Bill also decided to enact his vengeance on the entire city of Belfast by cursing them with some real troubles in the decades following... I believe they were known as... "The Troubles".
As for J. Bruce Ismay, the man who made a deal with Cipher in the first place, Cipher ruined his life by having him survive the Titanic disaster and gave him nightmares for the rest of his life.
So now you know Bill Cipher's connection to the Titanic disaster. My source is that I made it the hell up!
Yep, I saw this on "This Is Not a Website Dot Com" and figured I should cook.
Alex Hirsch, I will give you 20 bucks and a new flannel shirt if you say this is canon!
Check this out if you haven't already!

Warning: Spoilers ahead for The Book of Bill, obviously. Proceed at your own risk.
So today, I was just minding my own business when a package came for me in the mail. In it was a bizarre book with a one-eyed triangular demon on the cover. Attached to it was a note:
My dearest purple freak,
I know we haven't spoken in 50 years, but my triangular overlord gave me this book and told me to share it with everyone I knew. I am currently residing in the seventh circle of Hell, which is actually quite lovely this time of year. I can't write for long, my friends JFK and this tube-shaped owl who occasionally visits this dimension are gonna go bowling with Hermann Göring's head as the ball.
Enjoy this book, and consider it my gift to you for your assistance at Watergate back in '72. Hey, better late than never.
I remain most facetuously yours:
The ghost of Richard M. Nixon (AROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!)
Well, who can turn down a gift from the damned soul of a disgraced former US President?
Anyways, I took some pictures of stuff in the book I found interesting. Not all of them will be right-side-up thanks to my crappy phone, so just see how many unholy ways you can contort your feeble human necks in order to see them!
Still the best YouTube apology ever made.
Oh... so THAT'S why his head is a triangle.
Bill didn't want to reveal his weaknesses and so he's making me read The Great Gatsby instead.
A wild Hooty! I guess there's a little of Hooty in everyone!
I guess there's a bit of Larry King in everyone as well. Take a good long look, humans... this is your final form.
Oh, Titan... it's the Titan!
Also on this page... another wild Hooty!
In this same section of the book, it is confirmed that Bill is a fan of the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Truly a man of culture.
Newspaper advertisement regarding sightings of a particular William Lucipher, circa 1901.
Also on this newspaper page, this advertisement of an early-20th century predecessor to today's Owl Trowel™ (does not work on Hooty).
The Anti-Cipherite league is humiliated in the presence of President Theodore Roosevelt, as seen in this 1901 newspaper article.
Also, this finely mustachioed gentleman's thoughts on the new-fangled "electricity".
I'll give 'em props... they referenced the lesser-known sinking of the Lusitania instead of going for the easier Titanic reference. I noticed plenty such jokes in this book that you'd need prior historical context for... my favorite kind of joke!
Wait a minute... there exists no footage of the Lusitania sinking... is Cipher keeping it all to himself?
Anyways, if I were to take pictures of every part I liked, I'd just be taking pictures of the entire book. But I figured these would be some fun highlights.
Sorry for having the retrospective put on hold for a few days, but to make it up to you all on the ping list, I'll ping you all here!
Had to remake the post because I forgot to censor my face
Which one of Alex Hirsch's three characters do you consider to be his best character and why? Grunkle Stan, Bill Cipher or King Clawthorne?
Let's start off obviously by Luz Noceda !
In the English dub, Luz is voiced by Sarah-Nicole Robles, who has also voiced... Not a lot of people. She's especially minor characters and additional voices, which is sad.
In the French dub, which is in fact Belgian, because Disney shows are in majority dubbed in Belgium, Luz is voiced by Jazz Marlier, who has also voiced... Well her case is like Sarah-Nicole, she has in majority voiced minor characters, so... Let's go on to Amity !
In the English dub, Amity is voiced by well known actress Mae Whitman, who has played Roxanne Richter in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Katara in Avatar : The Last Airbender. And for those who might be asking, yes, she'll voice Roxanne in the Scott Pilgrim animated show.
In the French/Belgian dub, Amity is voiced by Fanny Dreiss, who has also voiced Rainbow Dash in the 2021 My Little Pony reboot, and in 2020, she voiced Princess Vania in Ninjago, because yeah, Ninjago's French dub is also Belgian.
Let's move onto King and Hooty !
So, in the English dub, King and Hooty are voiced by the genius Alex Hirsch, who has obviously also voiced Grunkle Stan, Soos, Old Man McGucket and Bill Cipher in Gravity Falls... I mean, he's just a legend.
In the French dub, King and Hooty are voiced by Olivier Prémel, who has been in countless Disney Channel shows, such as Liv And Maddie, Austin And Ally, I Didn't Do It, Best Friends Whenever or K.C. Undercover. He has voiced Rio in La Casa De Papel (don't know if anyone has watched) and Mort in Milo Murphy's Law. He's a really great voice actor and he does a nice job at voicing Hooty and King.
For the next part, we're gonna talk about Eda, Willow, Gus and Lilith.
Hope you enjoyed.
King- (I'd say Bill but STan fits him more, because King is good and Bill is bad guy) Stan
Luz- Dipstick
Willow- Mabel
Gus- Soos
Eda- Ford
Amity- Pacifica Northwest
