Snice eda and Lilith both have the curse can they technically just swap limbs? I mean we know that eda can detach her limbs from the body so what’s stopping Lilith from detaching her limbs and swapping witch eda? Or is it when they split the curse so they just not have the ability to do that anymore!!??!?!?!?!?! I mean during kings tide edas arm got easily detached so??????
What if it happened to her on a different day?
On a day when there weren't tryouts in the way?

I've seen many people say their curse shouldn't be cured bc it's a chronic illness/disability metaphor, and ofc I respect their interpretation but... I don't think Dana has outright confirmed that she intended it to be a metaphor?
Not to mention, at this point in the story the curse has grown to be far more than just a metaphor, so I'm personally not too attached to that interpretation
I do want the Owl Beast to be freed though (bc they're baby ok)
If Dana takes the "Eda keeps her curse" route, I hope she does it in a way so that Eda will keep all the effects of her curse while just the Owl Beast is freed
(iirc it's kinda implied that's already the case with Lilith: as in, only having the curse and not any Beast like Eda does)
hey guys does everyone know why small parts of belos/philip still alive and enter earth while luz and her friends escape from the collector at the end of the second season finale let know why and how he will do this with theory.
Before he become the emperor philip had a curse by caleb's wife after he murder his own brother and using palisman to keep it at bay however unlike eda's owl beast curse his condition begin to worsen as he use the souls of the palisman he consume turn him into the wendigo like monster with the mix of all the palismen plus he become immortal as the side effect.
For centuries he use his manipulation to fool the boiling isles inhabitants by joining the coven system to limit on magic and kill them with the draining spell under the guise of the day of unity as for his transformation he went out control he cannot use it made him a abomination after ate all the palismen souls even he keep his human form in check.
However luz brand philip with the emperor coven sigils draining all his magic powers and cause him to stuck his monster form forcing luz and her friends to fight before the collector defeat him.
And now on the third season he was ended up back to his hometown however this time things had changes since he was left on earth for centuries as the collector and luz mentions about the modern day gravesfield.
Now he on the 21st century after he had been gone for far too long humanity had technology they created cars driving by modern buildings made and he found out that humanity are no longer fear witches and magic they use it to make witch fantasy series and fictions not to mention gravesfield had turn from the british colony to united states town even there no witch hunters around this make him more furious now.
Belos/philip wittebane had become from witch hunter and emperor to the monster he had become making far more dangerous and deadlier than his human form he vow not only revenge against luz and her friends but he will attack every human he came across this is bad news right.
Luz and her friends had to do something to end belos/philip life before he cause more terror and destruction on gravesfield and neighboring cities once he was dealt with the collector will be next.
Let me know my theories is correct.

Do you agree with the sentiment that Eda and Lilith's Owl Beast curse should be considered as a metaphorical chronic illness/disability rep? (This seems to be the general consensus in the fandom as far as I'm aware)
Do you believe the sigiled witches count as being metaphorically disabled as well (since they can't access all their magic the way wild witches can)?
With that being said, should the show cure Eda and Lilith's curse/remove the sigils from witches?

Ok I know she cursed her sister, but hear me out. When she did she was around Luz's age so she wasn't as smart as she was when she was at the present. People keep on forgetting that LUZ of all people could've killed her classmates with fireworks/snakes (from episode 1). She was under the impression that it would last for a SINGLE DAY, not her whole life. Let me give you a character that has similar parallels... Grunkle Stan. SPOILERS
Grunkle Stan (a teenager at the time so like 16-ish) ruined his brother's science fair project that could've landed him a good life. He also technically led Stanford on the path to meeting and helping Bill. Everyone forgave him despite the fact that he kinda ruined his brother's life and had a hand in (indirectly) guiding his brother to help Bill. Not only that Grunkle Stan sent his brother (an accident mind you) to a whole new dimension to somehow survive in. Plus taking his identity. Both have spent DECADES of their life trying to fix their mistakes to the best of their abilities. Also, I'm not forgetting that Lilith tried to capture Eda, but Emperor Belos (who is supposedly the strongest witch) could heal her. When you've exhausted all your options then the only help you have is the strongest witch you've known. I think the reason why people forgave Grunkle Stan was because he had more screen time than Lilith.
My original theory was that

hey guys the reveal of the of the owlbeast curse and the origin of the scroll from knock knock knockin on hooty's door and we will meet the collector.
The collector was an mysterious magic user with an cloak with the cosmic motif of day and night and the crescent moon face.
She live at the another titan corpse island far away from the boiling isles according to her the collector was the collector of monsters and powerful demons by hunting and seal them in the form of curse scrolls as an trophy.
She mastered over light and dark magic base on her abilities the collector was use shadow traps and blinding light sealing magic to capture monsters whatever she encounter.
The collector was responsible for sealing the owlbeast before it could escape from her which the scroll ended up on the boiling isles.
When lilith found the scroll that owlbeast was imprisoned she thought that could be the last for the day and using it on eda when she sleep before the emperor's coven try out magic duel which the result of eda turned into an owlbeast after she throw the duel which eda became the owl lady what we know today.
Owlbeast was inbound with eda for 30 years whatever remind of the collector attempt to capture the owlbeast inside of her had caused problems in her life leading push away from others and everyone we wander why that poor owlbeast was so angry.
Owlbeast not only possessing her but also prevent eda from using magic I believe that curse was not from the boiling isles but from the different titan corpse island.
Now eda and the owlbeast make peace to each other and unlock her harpy form after the dreamscape.
