In her room, sitting with her knees to her chest, Luz Noceda thought silently about what happened. The door then slowly opened. King, her little brother, entered.
"Luz?"
She looked up.
"Did you see the way she looked at me?"
King crawled over to his sister, squeezing her hand.
"Hey. Look at me." He placed his claw onto her cheek. "It's not your fault."
"But it is, King." Luz said, tugging her hand away. "I wasn't to stop her from getting away, and did you the people she-"
She buried her face in her hands. King's heart clenched, saddened that her sister had suffered so much all over again. He squeezed in and gave her a huge hug.
Luz, touched by her brother’s words, returned it.
Knock Knock!
She and King looked at the window and saw a fleshy skeleton hand knocking on the window.
Luz got up and opened it.
“Here”
“Fanks.” said a sickly gaggy voice.
Luz turned back to King to thank him, only to see that he was hiding in her sleeping bag, completely terrified out of his wits.
“Huh?”
She turned around.
What sat, perched on the window, was a horrifying fleshy skeleton monster. Huge chunks of his flesh and organs were gone with green blood absolutely caking everything he touched., including his red ripped cake.
His head was ripped open and some of his teeth were missing, including his eye.
Luz screamed, full blast, and jumped back in terror. She grabbed King and started throwing objects at the monster.
“WAIK!” He pleaded, dodging the attacks. “I just nek your-”
WHACK!
Luz threw her Azura book at the alien, causing its head to spin around and around.
“Who are you?” She asked.
The Alien outstretched his hands and clutched Luz’s head.
Instantly, everything went black as Luz shut her eyes in pain. As she did, countless imahges and memories flooded before her eyes…
Her Father’s hand falling limp at his side…
Hunter running off into the woods, sobbing uncontrollably…
Amity yelling at her, saying she was a bully…
But after that, she was flooded by memories that were never hers, ones that belonged to another person…
Removing the spine from a dead body…
Running through jungle foliage towards a body of water…
“What…the hell…”
“ARE YOU?!”
Luz fell back onto the ground, his hands no longer touching her head. She looked up.
Laying on the ground was the broken, soggy mess of the corpse. But standing on top was a tall, domineering figure. He was about 6 ft. He wore brown tattered shorts that we're ripped with his left shoulder being bandaged. He had a horrible burnt mark's wound all over and a Stab wound the left side of his gut. He had black hair in dreadlocks and a slight green tint.
Luz gasped in horror.
"You're…you're the PREDATOR!"
He swelled.
"I have had many names.” He replied, as Luz took a step back. "The Classic Predator, Jungle Hunter, El Demonio que Hace Trofeos de los Hombres."
He then looked straight at her.
"And yes... PREDATOR."
Luz grabbed King and held him close to her.
"How is this possible?!" she asked, completely surprised at what she was seeing.
The Predator looked back at Luz.
“It seems that my reputation precedes me outside my hunting grounds.”
"Yeah!" Luz confirmed."There have been conspiracy sites and theories on Predators. But you're not real. You're just a internet story, an urban myth -"
Jungle Hunter leaned down until their faces were even.
"Do I look like a myth, little girl? Is my face a mask?"
Luz took another step back, afraid of his creepy mouth.
“Why are you here?” She asked, trying to show some bravery.
“I somehow came back from thei-de after I lost my life to Dutch Schaufer in the Central American Jungle. Afterwards, I found the decaying corpse of another alien and made my way to Gravesfield. I spent the days wondering in a vain attempt to find you, interacting with the blond guy and the enby striped girl.”
“Hunter and Vee.” Luz said to herself. “But what about Amity? Why is she suddenly a horrible murdering monster?!”
Jungle Hunter frowned, or at least that was what he was probably trying to do with his horrible mouth.
“Because she has been possessed.”
Luz clenched at this news. Jungle Hunter turned to the open window.
“Another one of my kind had also shared my fate. But unlike me, he’s young, arrogant, greedy. He thinks that without the chains of non-co, he can fight and hunt without yin'tekai. I traveled here to warn you about him.”
“Well you weren't good enough!” Luz shouted, finally getting angry. “You were slow and weak and you couldn't stop Amity from kill-”
“WHICH-” Jungle Hunter growled in his scary voice. “I am going to go after him and bring him to justice. “I thought you needed your help from what I’ve seen in your mind, but I’m going alone.”
He went around to get some supplies for armor he could make. He grabbed knives, clubs and other assortments while Luz thought King clutched onto her legs.
I’m not just gonna sit on the sidelines and let this freakshow save my girlfriend. I’m gonna go help Amity!
But he's right. She thought then as Jungle Hunter looked through some drawers. Glyphs don’t work anymore, Stringbean is gone and my body is still healing.
But then she got an idea.
“Train Me.”
Jungle Hunter, who had abandoned everything he had taken and went back to the window, spun around.
“What?”
Luz knelt at his feet.
“Train me to be like you.”
Jungle Hunter snarled in anger. “Why?”
“You saw in my mind.I’ve done so much, so one assassin can’t make me give up that easily. Besides, you don’t have a vessel to fight the thing, and I don't think that corpse can help.”
Jungle Hunter grimaced (which looked horrifying), but looked down at the corpse to think. Hiding in that sack of much was absolute torture in everyway, and he needed a top specimen to inhabit and attack the traitor.
He signed and said-
“Fine.”
Luz got back up, King sitting at her left foot. “I’m coming too!”
But then Jungle Hunter raised his finger.
“But on one condition.”
Luz grew determined. “What?”
“I go on a date with your mom.”
Luz’;s eyes widened in disbelief and horror. The Hunter shrugged.
“What? She's Hot. Just sayin.”
