Alright, I gotta be real—I'm getting so tired of Lumity. Yeah, I said it. I don’t hate the ship, I still think it’s cute and all, but it’s gotten exhausting. Ever since it became canon, it’s like people can’t stop shoving it in your face. Like, I get it, it’s groundbreaking and sweet and whatever—but come on, does everything have to be about them now?
What bugs me is that The Owl House had such a rich cast, and yet ever since Disney pulled their usual bullshit and shortened the show after the first part of season two, it felt like the writers crammed in as much Lumity content as humanly possible. Meanwhile, characters like Eda, Willow, and Gus—who had so much potential—got shoved to the background. That’s not fair to them or to the story.
And let’s not forget, because this is Disney, there’s barely any actual tension. No breakups, no real drama, no consequences. Just a picture-perfect couple 24/7. It’s sanitized to hell, and honestly? That makes it kinda boring after a while.
Again, I like Lumity, but I miss when the show was about more than just one ship.
This is where the gang get ready for the Day of Unity.
Camila and Darius have joint custody of Hunter so sometimes he lives with Camilla, Vee and Luz in the Human Realm and sometimes he lives with Darius in the Boiling Isle
The Boiling Isle are now a democracy
The Collector's real name is Comet with his oldest sibling naming them
All Collectors/Archivists are born from something called the motherstar
Eda and Raine adopted The Collector/Comet
I believe this art is by rhtashrut, the art does not belong to me! I don't really like Lumity, but I just felt like posting this for those Lumity fans who like Swap AUs :)
Personally I’m not a big fan of her first scene, bringing snakes and firework to school doesn’t feel like something Luz would do, she has more common sense than that.

The voices in my head kept telling me to draw this, a very crack thing involving characters who have absolutely nothing to do with each other but all tend to occupy space in my mind.
I do not know what possessed me to make this. It's actually my first time drawing Luz, I used a render for reference 'cause I don't know how to draw humans.
Big animatronic guy in the middle is Lockjaw, A.K.A. Frankburt, from the rather infamous FNAF fangame series "The Return to Freddy's". He's the creator's self-insert animatronic... yes, you heard me. I didn't choose to hyperfixate on The Return to Freddy's but it was so big of a rabbit hole that I couldn't help but be sucked in, and in the three years since I fell down the rabbit hole I've grown kinda fond of Lockjaw, even if he is a self-insert.
Don't question why Thomas is so small, I guess he's off in the background. Idea in making this was just to give in to my inner cringe and make this crack sketch of three characters who I often think about and have been big parts of my life... even goddamn Lockjaw.
I guess these are my art pings on the rare occasion I post art:
The Adventures of Wildcard
https://archiveofourown.org/series/4770070
This is a sequel series to Making of a Wildcard where it focuses on a series of one-shots and stories of Luz’s adventures as the masked vigilante Wildcard in Gravesfield.
Making of a Wildcard is where she gets her suit, training and a new way to cast magic that doesn’t require paper glyphs a little bit of techno magic on her suit and Batman, Eda, King, Amity and Zatanna and Lucius Fox have a hand in making the suit for Luz while she trains under Bruce Wayne’s roof and cave. Making do a Wikdcard takes place mostly in Gotham City where Luz stays for six months or train under the Bat-Family and she meets and befriends people like Alfred, Robin(Tim Drake), Nightwing, Batgirl(Cassandra Cain) and Oracle(Barbara Gordon). I also stuck with the theme of found family as Luz essentially becomes a honorary member of the Bat-family during her stay at Wayne Manor.
If she can survive the Demon Realm, Belos, the Collector and Darksied she can survive Gotham City.
