Dana has quite literally NEVER done this before. People have headcanoned Hunter and Edric as transmasc for literally like 6 years at this point, people headcanon pretty much every character ss enby, and never once has Dana said "Stop headcanoning this character, they are cis"

I think it's worth noting, that Dana has shown approval of transfem Hunter hc before:

If intentionally hateable characters don't count, then probably Hooty might be the most hated? He's popular (and I like him myself) but also pretty divisive from what I've seen

Y'all if "characters hated for intentional reasons" like Belos doesn't count then Odalia and Tibbles probably don't either, same goes for Boscha, Terra, etc
