@Hawas1983 I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to the OP.
FYI, Loud House is kinda apples and oranges since it wasn't a story driven show and Sam's more of a supporting character rather than a major one like Amity is.
So how would you have fixed Lumity then? Like, how would you have done an LGBT romance involving two major characters justice?
@Hawas1983 Then how come you haven't just tried to propose your own ideas on what careers the Hexsquad should've had? Like you could be more constructive be giving what you would've done.
@Hawas1983 By that logic, you may as well say Marcy isn't truly into fantasy either given we never see her hanging out in a library.
Like come on, plenty of fantasy nerds can like fantasy in different ways than just the library.
@Hawas1983 How much more explicit do you want them to be on Hunter being a palisman carver?
And then what careers would you have given the Hexsquad? And be specific, don't be vague.
@Nightsilver Sorry about that. I guess I was just getting sick of Hawas' behavior and how they haven't shown signs of changing their behavior that got them banned in the first place.
@Hawas1983 Then what would Dana Terrace have done with Owl House then?
And then how come whenever someone does a top 10 best Disney cartoons list, a lot of people still include Owl House. Not even close to abandoned.
Like, I've seen lots of shows that are still popular despite lack of new content.
@Hawas1983 Why must you be a joykiller and ruin everyone's fun?
Amity literally says she will never speak to Odalia again in Clouds on the Horizon and there's nothing to imply she let go of her resentment. She doesn't even include Odalia in her family drawing in For the Future like she does with Alador, Edric, and Emira. Why would Amity ever reconcile with Odalia if Odalia shows no sign she'd ever change and become a good mom?
Still, Amity made it clear she's disowned Odalia and there's nothing indicating Edric and Emira care about their mom anymore so Alador isn't just gonna be with a woman who his kids hate. And I think one moment in the timeskip implies he may be with Darius now.
And what use do the Abomatons have now that Belos is gone? Those were made for him?
Besides, do you really think it's good for your mental health to be with a woman you dislike and has proven no problems in supporting Belos?
Well what reason would Alador have to not divorce Odalia? She made it clear what a horrible person she is to the point where she didn't care if everyone would die in Belos' plan as long as she had power with Alador visibly angry for that and cutting ties with her. In what world would they ever not divorce, especially since Odalia isn't exactly changing her ways.
Yeah, but Jymn Magon, Patsy Cameron, and Tedd Anasti (showrunners of the 1980s show) are still alive,
Or Disney could get someone else to run it. They had a different person run the 2017 DuckTales reboot from the 1987 series. They also did a Gargoyles continuation without Greg Wieseman.
And besides, Dana could easily change her mind and come back in about 10 or so years. The future isn't set in stone.
@Hawas1983 Oh and what did you think the show was leading up to then if you're so smart.
And you're still just using that one YouTube video as "proof" despite it only being made by a fan.
Like, if you saw the finales for Adventure Time, OK KO, Regular Show, and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, you'd clearly also think they were just as similar to Amphibia and Owl House's endings. Heck, I'm sure if those three shows aired their finales closer to Amphibia and Owl House's in 2022-23, there'd have been a fan video at that point about it too.
@BeanieAndTheDucks Can you do something about this?
@Hawas1983 Stop acting like Dana flat out didn't care when she and the crew were making the series finale. Sure she got a bad deal, but the idea she and the crew didn't even make an effort to try is flat out false and very insulting. She stated multiple times how she and the crew worked hard to make the final season a good send off despite the higher up interference.
And again, I'm confused, if you're claiming Dana had no plans on how the end the show would go when it was cancelled, why are you stating the series finale goes against her original plans? You make zero sense and you contradicted yourself.
If you were in Dana's shoes in getting the cancellation hammer dropped on you and only having three hour long specials to work with for season 3, what would you do in her position?
And Amphibia isn't the only other show that had a timeskip series finale and a final epic battle. It happened with Adventure Time, OK KO, Regular Show, and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. By that logic, are gonna claim Amphibia and Owl House copied their series finales from those shows too?
@Hawas1983 Dana only said the hates the PHRASE, not the idea of a happy ending. Quit cherrypicking.
Would you remotely be happy if the show ended with Luz dying?
And then what was the original planned ending from Dana? How come she's never said what the so called "original" planed ending was if you think the ending we got wasn't the one she wanted? Dana's been pretty open about the ideas she had for the show had season 3 been longer and other scrapped plans, there's no reason why she wouldn't reveal her intended ending if the one we got wasn't what she wanted.
I feel you just refuse to admit the ending we got is a perfectly valid ending just because it doesn't fit your weird narrow minded standards.
@Hawas1983 And now you're just coming off as confusing. What do you know of what ending Dana had in mind for Luz? You can't just make your claim that the canon ending isn't what Dana wanted with no proof. Especially since Dana would've mentioned having a different ending if it were true.
@Hawas1983 That still doesn't mean she was never intending Luz to have a happy ending. We have zero proof she never wanted Luz to have a happy ending. Heck, what ending do you think Dana had in mind for Luz if you're so smart? Did you somehow think Dana was gonna have Luz die forever?
You're a mega hypocrite. You criticize us for only picking stuff from the show just to fit a headcanon, but you do that even worse than everyone else. You take Dana saying "I don't care for happily ever after" out of context and somehow cherrypick the heck out of that statement to claim she didn't want Luz to have a happy ending despite having zero proof otherwise. She only said she doesn't like the PHRASE, not the idea of happy endings. You're just cherrypicking and grasping at straws.
@BeanieAndTheDucks Hawas is at it again.
@Hawas1983 Okay, you have no proof that the ending Dana have Luz wasn't the one she wanted. How do you know the ending Dana originally planned for Luz? Now you're the one who's making up a bunch of crazy "tin foil hat" conspiracy theories.
@Hawas1983 Will you please stop overthinking the heck out of this? You keep turning what is intended as a happy ending into something that you claim is a bad ending.
Like seriously, what did you want? Would you remotely be happy if the show ended with Luz dying? Would that match your insanely weird standards and obsession with not giving Luz happiness and assuming the worst from her?
@AdmiralZod1 I could use some help here.
