Non-human individuals are almost always referred to as “it”, not “they”, so I have no clue why you mentioned that. I don’t get why you’re inventing reasons not to do this when any they/them person will always tell you that using their correct pronouns validates them.

Calling a person by “he” or “she”, when they express a preference for “they”, is dehumanizing because it shows you don’t respect them as a human. You’re putting your own preferences ahead of the other person’s instead of making that small change in your language to make the person feel comfortable.

It's just refering those people as a "them" feels like I'm not refering them as human. At least to me. I kinda find it disturbing. 

It’s more dehumanizing for you to call them by he or she just because you don’t like to use “them”.

Also, you literally did it in this sentence. “feels like I’m not referring to THEM as human” — you’re perfectly capable of using gender neutral pronouns to refer to a single person, you just don’t want to.

Unfortunately you'd have to buy them online, they're extremely obscure and not officially published so I'm 100% certain not one library carries them. But that is such a tragedy because they are so entertaining and wholesome AND based on an Animal Jam roleplay

Genre for the first book is simply comedy like you'd expect from a slice of life school setting, genre for the other two is culty insane zombie apocalypse driven by a comphet popstar and her fellow celebrities
