I bet that Amity regretted wanting to participate in the Bonesborough Brawl again due to the traumatic events from "Reaching Out" where she tried to connect with Alador, had Luz involved, and faced the anniversary of Luz's father's passing. As a result, Amity hates the Bonesborough Brawl because it serves as nothing but a painful memory for the Blight family.
I mean, that's now what Dana originally wanted due to the show's shortening.

I absolutely despise the second act of the final showdown! You beat phase one, pop the confetti, and suddenly it’s like, ‘Surprise! Here’s phase two!’ It's more embarrassing than tripping onstage in a chicken costume during a Shakespeare play!
While Dana and the gang did manage to make a good ending, it wasn't the original planned ending that they had envisioned from the very beginning, and the reason why the show was cut short is cause Disney wanted to focus more on preschool stuff and not do serialized shows anymore.
Unless you're trying to start a kitchen knife juggling career, in which case, go for it! Just remember: the last person who played with those ended up seasoning their eyebrows!
Did you recontextualized everything after Understanding Willow? You know, Amity was never a mean girl or bully, she was putting on a facade all the time and pretended to be friends with Boscha and her gang due to Odalia's blackmail and threats towards Willow.
