You have a mixed feelings towards this show and it's normal to have character you quickly judge before even knowing better. I never saw Amity bullying anyone. The name of the video was given only because the original user who posted it also judge before recontextualizing. Besides, the first season was mostly episodic, if it was serialized, we could've learned why Amity did that and who she really was. After watching Lost in Language, I saw the REAL Amity who didn't use the facade.

In my theory, Luz and Masha lived in a town close by. They met and became friends when they were four, but then Luz and her parents moved to Gravesfield due to Manny's illness.

She was rightfully angry with Luz over what happened in Hexside. Besides, The Owl House was Disney's show, meaning it's a children's show.
