In the Thomas fandom there's some people who act like it's so mature because, for example, Season 5 had some stuff that might be considered too scary for some kids. Really it's okay to admit if you like a kids' show, you don't have to make it sound more mature than it is. And of course it's good for kids' shows to handle mature themes in a way their target audience can understand.

One of my favorite books which I'll never shut up about is an oldie but a goodie: The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells. A horrifying look at Earth in the throes of an extraterrestrial invasion, with humanity's extinction almost certainly assured, causing us to rethink our place in the universe and in the grand scheme of things.
Also, super cool Martians and their fighting machines!
There have been many adaptations of this story over the years, the best of which, in my opinion, is the 1978 album Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds. Very faithful to the spirit of the original novel, also full of earworms that live rent-free in my head 24/7.
Although if I were a demon in the Boiling Isles I would 100% start a Train Coven and build little locomotives to pull the minecarts in the Titan's blood mines.
In fact, in Eclipse Lake, one of Kiki's Abomatons turns into a self-propelled rail vehicle, so we can make abomination locomotives! Let me cook here!

I keep forgetting that August 8th is not only the anniversary of Enchanting Grom Fright premiering in 2020, but also Five Nights at Freddy's releasing in 2014. Crazy how they both fall on the same day.

Perfect except two things:

2. Adrian will not get redeemed: he’ll be as annoying as ever, no signs of redemption whatsoever, less signs of redemption than Kikimora, so annoying and mean to his subordinates, etc. Literally agree 100%. We literally saw Severine quit the Emperor's Coven, like, compared to some of the other people here she's not that bad.
And Adrian, yeah, he's a jerk, personally I just hate him, haha.
