If I were you, I would communicate with your friend about how you feel. You might be able to say something like "Hey (friend's name), I noticed that you have really been talking about this show a lot. While I'm happy that you've found something that you like so much, It's become a bit tiring. I've noticed that you only talk about it with me, not with our other friends, and I was wondering if maybe you could tone it down a little?"
Maybe come up with some sort of compromise, like he still can talk to you about it sometimes, but not all the time.
