This is funny, but having candy (or anything else really sugary) as the first thing i ate that day would give me a really bad headache if not a full migraine lol (since i wouldn't have had any protein to balance the sugar)

I think I have a very different idea of camp from y'all; bringing dvd players and a ton of books wouldn't be the best idea at the camps i've been to (heavy and take up a lot of space, plus electronics aren't usually allowed) (this is /nm and not meant to be rude in any way, obviously different camps are different and i love reading and dvds are great, i'm just surprised)

The sticker supplies are a really good idea, and kandi and bracelet stuff are also great. Any other lightweight/small craft supplies are a good idea as well, like yarn and cardboard for yarnwheels or plastic lacing for lanyards/gimp, two classic camp crafts where i'm from (regional differences in name for the second one, and yes i know that one of those words is also an ableist insult, but anyone who's heard of it where i live calls it that and i've never actually heard that word used in an ableist way, so i'm still including it). A digital camera so you can take pictures, a deck of cards, maybe 1 or 2 books (paperbacks are probably better since they're lighter and smaller), maybe colored pencils or something if you have room. Bubbles are always fun, especially if there are kids at your camp (but put them in a plastic bag so if they spill it doesn't get your stuff wet)

Not quite as fun, but duct tape and sharpies are lifesavers at camp, and safety pins also come in handy. If you're allowed to bring electronics, double-check or triple-check that you have power banks and cords. Earplugs also come in handy if you can be sensitive to noise. Also bring plastic bags to put stuff that gets wet, muddy or gross in. If it gets hot at night where you are (it certainly does where I live), bring a sheet for when it's too hot to sleep in your sleeping bag. I'm sure you've already been told, but make sure you bring a flashlight or two and extra batteries, and essentials like bug spray and sunscreen of course

Usually I use spotify (can't really carry a big cd player around with me unfortunately) but i would really like to have a bigger cd collection

It actually really annoys me that records are coming back bc i don't have a record player and i do have a cd player, but records are way easier to find than cds and some of my favorite artists aren't even selling cds, just records :/
