It's December 12th! (12/12) which means today, back in 2012, Hawaii Part: II by Miracle Musical was released.
Aside from Pinkerton by Weezer, this album had quickly become my comfort album and it's like my biggest hyperfixation and honstly, one of my most favorite things ever. I mean, look at my user! A lyric from my favorite HP:II song! (I love Simon, by the way, he's very dear to me)
This album is the reason for my intrest in murder cases and my huge intrest in electroshock therapy, forms of electrocution, and even lobotamies (which I don't think is a good thing-)
I only started listening to their music in September and The Mind Electric was my top song this year, this album is a giant recomend for EVERYONE I think.
Today I created a Spotify playlist with every Hawaii: Part II song and any demos or alternate versions I could find on Spotify and Variations on a Cloud (Which makes me cry, by the way.)
If you want to start slow I recomend The Mind Electric, Murders, Laybrith, and Dream Sweet in Sea Major most, but the whole album is a masterpeice.
The story is intresting and it's my favorite concept album for it's story (Or Chonny's Charming Chaos Componeium-I hope I spelt that right-, which also has covers/re-writes? of Hawaii Part: II songs) but it's very interpertive and Joe Hawley hasn't (as far as I'm aware of) stated an offical story, although most interpertaions have similar structure, there are some great analyisis on YouTube, or just contact your local HP:II lover. My personal interperation is a mix of my own orignal ideas and some I heard on YouTube
Uh i don't know how to end this so uhh did this instead of my missing work yuh
