I've seen worse. I think the ship is based purely on the fact that their personalities would probably go well together. Personally, I have nothing against this ship, but I prefer Skara + Viney, if someone made a good comic about these two meeting/falling for each other that could change it, but I don't think any currently exist.

Yeah, I've never shipped him with anyone BUT I know of alot of people shipping him with hunter, and like Huntlow isn't cannon but it might as well be, there were lots of strong signs indicating it.

And my point isn't that it's that little kids tend to seek validation, praise or simply love, or maybe just the words 'I'm (so) proud of you' not everyone is that way through but most people are so I'm assuming Amity was too
She probably grew out of it alot quicker than others because she probably understood she'd never truly have her mother's love
