How many days/months have you been editing here? I've been here since September 23rd 2023, so exactly 8 months.

Why I want this right? A question that needs to be answered is why me? Why not anyone else here? Honestly, there's really nothing that sets me apart, at least I think so, except maybe for the fact that I gladly put in 100% effort in everything I do, and I really want to help this wiki be the best it can be. I'll try my hardest to make that possible, even if I don't get the role. I want to become a mod because I genuinely love helping others. I know the rules of the wiki very well, I check the recent changes page frequently, I don’t play favourites, and I think I’m very responsible. I'm also very active, I'm just not online when most others are due to timezone differences. I think this could be an advantage though, since I would be able to moderate when it's, for example, 4am for our mods or admins. The wiki may be declining in activity, but I feel that it is still important to have enough good, trustworthy mods to help this wiki. I'll admit I haven't really had the chance to prove that I would be a good mod, but I do try my best to help solve problems and calm down arguments even outside of fandom. Why I want this right: While I haven't been as active as I used to be, I'd like to help keeping this community a safe place. Even though I haven't been a mod myself, I always tried to point out if a user broke the rules, especially when I stalked their message walls. I mostly reminded people that cussing isn't allowed, or to put their post in the right category. But in the last weeks and months I saw certain people saying disgusting things about characters, people or even other users, which I'd like to pretend in the future. And I feel like being a mod would enable me to really make sure that everyone follows the rules.

The only thing that I see holding me back is my lately poor mental health. On the other hand, I worked on improving myself, especially in staying out of arguments, so I could fix my biggest flaw, the habit to get into arguments.

Why do you want this right?: I realize how Wolf is the only thread moderator on here ever since Beanie got promoted to administrator, and, ever since this wiki has been rising in activity, especially in the discussions part, we may need more staff than just Beanie and Wolf enforcing warnings, blocks, etc. onto other users. I am quite active in both the discussions page and my message wall, and am also available on Pinterest for other matters. Many of you may be asking, "Why you? Anyone could be a thread moderator," to which I will reply with: Not just anyone can be a thread moderator; it's a big job, especially in larger and more active wikis such as this one. Not only that, but most of this wiki is off-topic, with only a few people posting things actually related to The Owl House in general. I have experience modding on a smaller wiki, and while I may not be the first user to come to mind when appointing someone to the staff team, I believe I would make a worthy asset, as I am a reliable, active user on here that can lend an extra hand in the discussions page as a thread moderator.

Why I want this right? I have been representative for a long time on this site, and I've watched it grow into a lustrous, successful database. Since I no longer have a full capacity as global staff, I still seek to still help this wiki however I can, in the absence of RedBall and of fellow staff who've worked hard to become the people they are today. I have many skills underneath my belt, such as negotiation, wikitext, the understanding of the rules, and more. Although, to execute these requires me to become admin, and I will use these tools to aid my associates as I have before, in order to alleviate the burden, and continue to manage the community to a prosperous state.

The bond we've formed on this wiki extends far beyond an online fanbase dedicated to our beloved owl show; it has evolved into a close-knit community filled with treasured friends and family. Why do I want this right?

I am probably one of the most active people on this server, I have made about 700 article edits, and can always be active.

I know probably not a lot of you know me, and that's fine because I don't chat in discussions that often :,)

I have been in The Owl House fandom for almost 2 years, and I loved the series the whole time. I love the people here, the fandom, and the show.

Now, to the reasonable parts,

I have a good knowledge of Wikitext, spacing guidelines, article structure, and how a page should be.

I fix grammar, spelling, and word structure issues, eliminating repetition and useless information.

I would love to be a staff member here and meet and get to know all of you fellow TOH fans :D

Why I want this right? Yeah this is mostly favor of replacing the inactive bureaucrat, RedBallFire. This was a topic brought between me and @Nightsilver where we both agreed that I should run as Administrator due to my prior and current contributions to the wiki. Now some of you might not know me because I usually watch from the shadows. But a lot of you do and I know you can trust me as well. Not to mention I know Beanie is familiar with having me act sort of a head of things (even thought I’m not exactly going to be the leader lol).

All of you need someone who you can go to for things that a thread moderator cannot do. I have the experience and contributions for that.

Why I want this right: While not being asked by Nightsilver directly to apply, I have been working closer with her and feel I’m finally ready for this position. I’ve been a thread moderator here since December of 2022, and a content moderator since June of 2023. I am extremely active in discussions as well as an active editor with knowledge of wikitext & active use of recent changes. I have plenty of experience resolving conflict, both in editing and discussions, as well as experience administrating several other wikis (some small, some moderate size).

My mental health has been the one thing holding me back from applying for admin, but now that I’m getting professional help and working on myself I believe I’m the right candidate for the job, especially since managing the wiki has been relatively easy for me nowadays. I’m willing to help out any users who need it, and be there for situations which I couldn’t resolve as just a moderator. Why I want this right? It was recently recommended to me by @Nightsilver that I would be a good fit for being a Content Moderator, and after having given it thought, I do think that I would be a good fit. I feel that my knowledge, experiences, and goals as a contributor to this wiki match to the requirements for being a Content Moderator, as specified by the wiki's guidelines.

I have already done a lot to contribute to this wiki, whether that be expanding or creating new pages, editing and creating templates, finding and adding citations for pieces of information, creating image renders for characters and objects, or even more minor contributions, such as page formatting, wikitext formatting, or making adjustments to grammar.

I am a regularly and daily active user. I am fully familiar with the rules and guidelines that dictate the content, formatting, presentation, and editing procedure for this wiki. I know how to navigate the "Recent changes" page, and already check on it so often that it's almost always open as a tab on my browser. I understand wikitext, and know how to use the "source" editor (which is my default for editing). Additionally, I have been quick many times to notice and undo cases of vandalism on pages, and, if needed, to alert appropriate members of staff and to supply a notice/warning to the vandalizing user.

If I do become a Content Mod, then I would use that position toward the same goal I've always strived for here: to help further improve and expand this wiki in whatever way I can.

I think I would be really good at this because I am very active, I'm online for multiple hours on weekdays, and I constantly look over the 'Recent Changes', to see if there are any trolls, grammar mistakes, or information that generally doesn't need to be there.

Why I want this right?

I have been editing on this wiki for a while and have gained almost 1500 edits (though most of these are userpage edits). I have a good knowledge of wiki-text and have experience in using 'Recent Changes' and most other tools for editing on Fandom. I always try to follow editing guidelines, and do my best to keep pages clean and free from inconsistencies, such as removing unrelated pages from categories. Why I want this right?: I've been an editor on this wiki for a while now, and for the past few months I’ve been very active with mainspace editing, gaining over 900 edits. Currently, the only content moderator here is mainly inactive, and I feel that this wiki's content needs better care. I've talked to RedBall and he said I would be able to have both thread and content moderator positions, and I believe I am ready to have a content moderator position and that it would benefit the wiki; I am currently a content mod on the Ride The Cyclone wiki as well as an admin managing the content on three other wikis, so I am experienced in this field. I have a well understanding of wikitext, this wiki's rules and editing guidelines, and experience using all of the editing tools on FANDOM, as well as being very familiar with the Recent Changes page. I am currently in 11th place on the Leaderboard, and edit pages daily. I have a good eye for noticing details and with this position I know I'll do my best to keep all of the wiki’s pages up-to-date, clean & safe, and properly manage the content of this wiki.
