I keep thinking about how in "Thanks To Them" Luz and Hunter were more central than all of the other characters. And the ONLY EPISODE that Luz isn't in-- "Labyrinth Runners" is a Hunter-centric one, where he kind of acts as the protagonist for the episode. Despite not being in ALL of season 1, I think he might be at least the 4th most central character in the series, after Luz, Eda, and King. Which is kind of funny.

I kind of wonder if they would have a sibling rivalry for the main character role.

Saraah-Nicole Robles (Luz VA) was asked how Hunter would have reacted to Luz's death in WAD, and she said, "He would have been like, "Oh, cool! I'm the main character, now!" 😂 And then said, more seriously, "No, he would have shed a single tear and then had a mental breakdown."

Also, traditionally, heroes are supposed to die and often be resurrected, which happened to both of them! I think it's kind of funny how Hunter went from a villain side-character to one of the most important characters in the series.

I think the main 3 reasons I was pulled into this show were

1. The connections to Gravity Falls

2. All the authorities are wearing plague doctor masks

3. King

No, no, I am NOT going down that route

The timing doesn't make sense and Gravity Falls is on the opposite side of Gravesfield

...

Unless Phillip and Caleb's parents had a third sibling who remained in the human realm, had children and passed down the bloodline to Nathaniel and during that time they moved from Gravesfield to Gravity Falls, married into a wealthy family and then Nathaniel Northwest is born, thereby connecting Phillip and Caleb as uncles/great uncles to the Northwest Family

But hey, that's just a theory, A FILM THEORY

TW: Spoilers // I have a theory about King and Hooty, and this theory suggests that Hooty and King are related in a way, because if you look at the Titan (King’s father), you can clearly see that he has a Hooty-resembling bird-worm demon coming out of his left eye socket, and this “Titan Hooty” could very well possibly be Hooty’s father, and Titan Hooty must have been connected to the Titan for a while, most likely long enough that Titan Hooty could be Hooty’s father. Does this make sense?

When king let go at the end of season two and thanked Luz for being a great big sister, I sobbed SO HARD

So as the title says, I will be ranking all three seasons of TOH, as well as providing my reasons. Please know that this is my opinion and I won't tolerate any sort of hate/uncivilized behavior under this post.

Anyways, with that being said, this is my ranking:

1. Season 2 - ....Yeah, this season most definitely had a lot to digest in it. We got so many answers with the Day of Unity, we got to know Hunter a little more, I think our questions were finally starting to get an answer. If anything, this season also came with a whole lot of trauma for not just Luz, but the others too... with viewers heartstrings being pulled at. All in all, I think this would be the best.

2. Season 3 - Okay, so season three wasn't that bad, however, since the series was cut short and all we had were three 40 minute specials, it was rushed. I think there might've been some missed key points and I feel like not all of our questions received answers. There was also most certainly so much that was taken from us since it was cut.

3. Season 1 - This season was obviously laying out the plot, the background and introducing us to the Demon Realm. Witches, demons, fairies even, you name it. Just like Luz, we, as the audience, were also navigating with her this magical world she stumbled in trying to get her book back. We got introduced to Eda, King, Hooty, etc. as well... and this setting up would indicate what's to come in later seasons.

Sorry if my explanations aren't the greatest, I did try... let me know what you think. :)

I keep thinking about how if it hadn't actually been Luz that Kikimora had taken, Belos very likely would have killed Hunter (likely by dropping him down where King found the Collector, along with the remains of previous Golden Guards).

Anyway, the series would be a lot different if Hunter was actually captured by Kikimora.

Luz really saved Hunter's life, along with (eventually) all of the Boiling Isles by disguising herself as him.

Hey so as far as I know TOH, Amphibia and GF are placed in same universe (I'm not 100% sure about GF, more like 95%?). But what about Steven Universe? Is it connected somehow to TOH?

Bonus: do you think protagonists from TOH, Amphibia and/or GF would meet each other?
