The Abomatron is an abomination-based, manually controlled robot created by Alador Blight for Blight Industries.
Appearance[]
The Abomatron, like the Abomaton, is varying in shades of purple abomination matter. Its head and green eyes are positioned in place of its chest, which is protected by golden armor. Such golden armor is also found on the legs, feet, and wrists. The right arm bears a cannon, and the tops of the bulky shoulders are spiked. The place above the chest serves as the cockpit for the Abomatron. A purple jetpack is also present on the back of it.
Background[]
In the hours before the Day of Unity, Odalia presents the Abomatron to Kikimora and allows her to have it so she could test it before it could be used by the Emperor's Coven. When the Hexsquad are captured and freed by Alador, Kikimora uses the mech to capture Hunter (actually Luz disguised by an illusion) and brings her prisoner to the Titan's skull to regain Belos' favor.
After getting revenge on Belos and witnessing the Collector's release, Kikimora flew the Abomatron to Hexside and disguised it as a St. Epiderm student named "Roka", using it to enforce her rule on the students while manipulating Boscha at the same time. After the Noceda's and the Hexsquad arrive at the school, Kikimora fights Luz, Amity, Camila, and Matt Tholomule in the detention pit where the mech proves to be strong for them to do more than restrain. After Luz and Camila regroup with Willow, Gus, and Hunter outside, Kikimora is briefly overwhelmed by Willow, then the students of Hexside before Luz and her friends escape. Following Belos' final defeat, Kikimora is detained but the mech's fate is unknown.
Powers and abilities[]
- Malleability: Thanks to the abomination goo they are made from, Abomatrons are malleable and can alter their bodies for various tasks.
- Arm extension: Much like the Abomaton, the Abomatron can extend its arms.
- Blaster arm: By default, the Abomatron's right arm can shoot blasts of abomination goo.
- Jetpack: The Abomatron has a built-in jetpack on its back that can be used for flight.
- Shield: The Abomatron can generate a translucent shield around the cockpit, protecting the pilot.
- Bubble: The Abomatron can generate a small spherical bubble, similar to the cockpit shield, which can be used to restrain enemies.
