Andrew Morgan Smith is a composer, known for his work in movies such as The Old Way, You Might Be The Killer, and Jeepers Creepers 3.
For The Owl House, he is a co-composer of additional music.
Background[]
Andrew started music at a pretty young age, but his interest in film music as a career didn't start until he was in high school. He saw Pirates of the Carribean in theaters, and it clicked for him. From that point onwards, he put everything he had towards becoming a film composer.[1] In the last 10 years, he has scored more than 90 projects across all media.
Prior to working in the film industry, Andrew was classically trained in both composition and music media at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. There, he studied film scoring, orchestration, music theory, jazz theory and arranging, and music history. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, proficient in piano, guitar and saxophone, and experienced with the euphonium, trombone, clarinet and flute.
Andrew has also been a featured guest lecturer at New York University, Emory University, Louisiana State University, the University of Louisiana System, and high schools around the country.[2]
