Blabber Serum is a potion that uses magic to force those who drink it to tell the truth.
Background[]
Eda Clawthorne first mentions it in "Reaching Out", planning to use it on Warden Wrath to get info about the Day of Unity and Raine Whispers. Edric Blight helps her and King gather ingredients for it, but Edric adds fire bee honey to try and heat it up, which makes the potion backfire, transforming Warden Wrath into a horrifying creature. Luz uses multiple snow spells to cancel out the fire bee honey, reversing the transformation, and allowing Eda to extract information from Wrath. Eda mentions that, despite its gruesome side effects of vomiting, she could sell this mutation of the potion. Unfortunately, Eda didn't have time to market the Blabber Serum due to everything else that was happening.
Blabber Serum spells can be brewed in potion forms. A typical spell requires the following ingredients:
- Skin badger dandruff
- Fairy spit
- Eye-Quills
- Two other unknown ingredients
