The Eye-Eating Prisoner is a minor character in The Owl House. He is a monster formerly incarcerated in the Conformatorium. Luz finds him there while retrieving King's crown. His crime is eating his own eyes, even though this just makes them pop back into their sockets.
Appearance[]
Body[]
The Eye-Eating prisoner is a light grayish-blue monster with at least six eye holes, which will either have all his eyes or a few missing. Said eyes have sea green irises and tan-like sclera. In his youth, he had a tuff of orange hair atop his head.
Clothing[]
He wears gray capris with shredded ends and walks barefoot. He also has an ankle lock on his left foot.
Background[]
In his youth, he attended an unknown school as a plant track student.[2]
He is seen in the Conformatorium with Katya and Tinella Nosa, having been arrested for eating his eyes. After Luz Noceda breaks into the Conformatorium, she gives him and the others a pep talk about being themselves. Shortly after, Luz encounters Warden Wrath, she frees him, and the others and they attack the warden.
A few weeks later he is seen catching a ride in an egg in Bonesborough, and again when Luz, in Eda's body, puts lights on the Human Collectibles sign to attract more customers.
When Eda is sentenced to be petrified, he and others rally for her freedom. A few weeks after the failed petrifaction, he sees the Bards Against the Throne stop Coven Scouts from arresting a covenless witch.
Four years after the Day of Unity and the final defeat of Emperor Belos, he attends Luz's belated quinceañera.

Behind the scenes[]
Debut[]
The Eye-Eating Prisoner debuted in the episode, "A Lying Witch and a Warden".
Trivia[]
- His Penstagram account lists him as 4EYEDPRIDE in "Hooty's Moving Hassle".
- As revealed in "Them's the Breaks, Kid", the Eye-Eating Prisoner was in the plant track when he was a student. However, it is unknown which school he attended, or if he later joined the Plant Coven. The latter is unlikely, given how he lacks a coven sigil.
- Unlike his two prison mates, Katya and Tinella Nosa, he is the only one of the three prisoners to not have a name.
