Flora D'splora is a character in The Owl House. She is Lilith's old mentor from the Emperor's Coven and a well-known historian.
Appearance
Body
Flora is an average-built woman with tan skin, short black hair styled in a bob cut, and brown eyes. She also has pointed ears and a brown top lip.
Clothing
Flora wears a burgundy dress with a black belt and sleeves, in addition to orange pantaloons and high gray-and-black boots. A triangular emblem is present on her dress. She also wears pink-tinted eyeglasses.
Personality
Known by Lilith as a "bad-girl historian", Flora is adventurous and has a deep amount of wanderlust in her. She is also very intelligent and deeply obsessed with history. However, she seems to be a bit apathetic, as she only attended Lilith's party under Emperor Belos' orders and has no respect for wildlife.
Background
At some point in her past, Flora joined the Emperor's Coven and mentored Lilith throughout the latter's time in the coven.
Years later, she traveled to the Owl House to celebrate Lilith's induction as a curator of the Supernatural Museum of History. Afterwards, Flora informs her that she attended the party to make sure no trouble was caused and to drop off her things after Lilith's office was cleared.

Behind the scenes
Name and basis
The name Flora means "flower" in Latin, and is a feminine given name in many Hispanic languages. Her surname may be based on desplor, the Spanish word for "slump", although it may also be a play on "deplore".
Flora may be a reference to the children's character Dora Márquez from Dora the Explorer. In addition to physical resemblance, her name is a pun on the show's title, and her whip has a monkey at the top, which may allude to Boots, a monkey who often accompanies Dora on her journeys.
Voice
Flora is voiced by Eileen Galindo.
Debut
Prior to her appearance in the series, Flora was mentioned in the audio recording of Lilith during the "Be Gay Do Witchcraft Charity Drawathon!" charity stream.[1] She made her official debut in the episode "Elsewhere and Elsewhen".
