The Gravesfield Halloween Festival is a festival held in Old Gravesfield on October 31st.
Description[]
The festival is held on Halloween night with various attendees going in costumes, as well as staff dressing up. Attractions include stands selling food and souvenirs, a recreation of a witch trial, and a haunted hay ride detailing the legend of the Wittebane brothers.
Background[]
After months of trying and failing to build a working Portal back to the Demon Realm, Luz Noceda, Amity Blight, Gus Porter, Willow Park, and Hunter attend the festival to have fun. During the event, Gus interrupts a mock witch trial and uses illusion magic to give the actor playing the prosecutor a demonic lower half. However, Jacob Hopkins arrives and reveals Gus as a real witch, however no one believes him and security tackles him to the ground.
After that, the five go to get on the haunted hay ride where Masha tells the group the story of Caleb and Philip Wittebane, making the five uneasy. After the ride, Hunter thinks he sees Belos and pulls Luz aside to tell her. In the process, he reveals the others' plan to surprise her with the possible location of Titan's Blood. Hunter, possessed by Belos, has Flapjack bring them the rebus and Hunter and Luz set out.
