Lío Guevara[note 1] is an animation screenwriter and character designer.
For The Owl House, they[note 2] worked as a character designer.
Background[]
Lío is a first generation Cuban-American character designer, writer, and paranormal enthusiast. Having grown up in Miami, their identity as an openly queer and Latinx creative is what inspires their personal work. They graduated from the University of Central Florida where they co-directed the animated short film Forget Me Not (2021). Since then, they've interned at Disney Television Animation and worked as a freelance character designer on Disney's 'The Owl House'. Lío has also participated in the launch of the Netflix Career Foundation Program for writing.
In their free time, they enjoy hiking, ghost hunting, and making overly specific playlists.[2]
