Latissa is a port town[1] in the Boiling Isles. It is located on one of the armpits of the Titan.[1] The town was previously taken over by the Emperor's Coven.
Hunter and Luz stayed at Latissa for a brief moment in "Hunting Palismen" while escaping Kikimora and Princess, after Kikimora failed to assassinate Hunter.
The Covens Against the Throne have their headquarters located within Latissa's police precinct.

In general, Latissa's appearance is vastly different compared to Bonesborough, mainly due to the fact that the buildings in Latissa are mostly made out of stone, appear to be rather old, have holes and cracks on them, and some of them have Emperor's Coven banners.
History[]
Latissa is one of the few areas in the Boiling Isles controlled by the Emperor's Coven. Luz and Hunter crash in it after Kikimora secretly sent her pet dragon to assassinate Hunter so she can bring the palismen to Belos in order to win his respect. Hunter tried to convince a group of coven scouts to let him contact the castle, but they didn't believe he was the Golden Guard due to his lack of the cloak and mask. After chasing Luz across the town to get his staff back, Hunter and Luz decide to team up to rescue the palismen.
Sometime later, before the Day of Unity, the Covens Against the Throne led by Raine Whispers, Darius Deamonne, and Eberwolf move their hideout to Latissa in order to work on a plan to stop Belos and the Draining Spell.

Trivia[]
- Despite being named after the latissimus dorsi, Latissa is in fact located on one of the armpits (most likely the right armpit due to its proximity to Bonesborough, which is located on the right arm) of the Titan that makes up the Boiling Isles.[1]
- Police Precinct 206 may be a reference to the production code of "Hunting Palismen", the episode where the location made its debut.
- Latissa may be home to Glandus High, or at the very least is a popular attraction for its student body. Children wearing the Glandus school uniform were among the people seen in the crowds from the Season 2 episodes "Hunting Palismen" and "Follies at the Coven Day Parade".
