The Raven Staff is the unnamed raven palisman wielded by Lilith Clawthorne.
Appearance[]
The palisman is a white raven with shaggy feathers, a dark gray beak and legs, beady yellow eyes, and a pale yellow underbelly. He has a curved line between the eyes on his forehead. His staff form is long and white with a gold attachment at the top that holds its palisman, where the wings extend like arches. It has the ability to glow white with glowing blue eyes when in use.
History[]
The staff is first seen and used when Lilith duels Eda at the Covention, and is later used to take vengeance on a con artist who sold Lilith a fake map to the fictitious Bloom of Eternal Youth.[1]
The staff is held by Lilith after a failed attempt at apprehending Eda and is used in a duel between the Clawthorne sisters later that day.[2] It is also used during Lilith's fight with Luz to defend Lilith from Luz's glyphs.[3]
After Lilith moves into the Owl House, it is seen resting against the wall of a second floor hallway.[4] Lilith later flies it to an uncharted island that King directs them to and flies it to fend off Jean-Luc.[5] Lilith later flies on it when she goes back to her parents’ house after reuniting with her mother.[6]
Lilith’s palisman watches as she makes a mock-up of an exhibition of Deadwardian balusters after she becomes curator of a museum.[7]
The staff is seen resting against a cave wall when the residents of the Owl House are hiding out on the Knee.[8]

Trivia[]
- His palisman form first appeared in "Elsewhere and Elsewhen".
- According to character designer Matthieu Cousin, the palisman is only referred to as "Lilith's Palisman" in production.[9]
- In a livestream, Dana Terrace elaborated that the palisman was not meant to have a name and was intended to stay in its staff form before "Elsewhere and Elsewhen" was in development.[10] Dana also joked that its name would be Mike Socks from the viewers' suggestions.[11]
- It is referred to as the "Raven Scepter" in Disney Heroes: Battle Mode.[12]
- It is unknown why Lilith was allowed to keep her palisman, as it is later revealed in "Any Sport in a Storm" that all members of the Emperor's Coven were required to surrender their palismen over to Belos. However, Dana Terrace later implied that since Belos had already encountered an older, time-traveling Lilith by the time the younger Lilith joined the Emperor's Coven, he allowed her to keep her palisman to maintain the timeline that had worked in his favor so far.[10]
