The Slayground is a place where the children of Bonesborough come to play.
Appearance[]
The Slayground is a circular park that has gates in the front, and then walls bordering the grass. It has a slide, sand pit, and swing set. Benches are nearby, available for parents to sit on as their children play.
Background[]
King goes to the slayground to try and proclaim himself ruler, however a young boy easily overpowers him and King forced to leave when Eda's curse acts up. Later, after realizing Eda is in a half-transformed state that leaves her susceptible to commands, King uses her to take control of the slayground. However, Animal Control arrives and apprehend Eda. King goes after her, but the boy who pushed him earlier says he will lose his position if he leaves. After a moments hesitation, King chooses to go after Eda.
Months after the Day of Unity, after The Collector takes control of the Boiling Isles, the slayground is seen abandoned and covered in stars.

Trivia[]
- It is a portmanteau of the verb "slay" (to kill) and "playground".
- It has a sign saying "ALL BLOODTHIRSTY MONSTERS MUST BE LEASHED"
- The subtext says it's funded by the Bonesborough department of "parks and wreck" (a parody of the shortening of "Parks and Recreation").
- In concept art, the Slayground was called "Bone Zone".[1]
