"The Amphibia House" is the fourth The Owl House Chibi Tiny Tales short, and the tenth Amphibia Chibi Tiny Tales short, serving as a crossover between the two. It premiered on January 14th, 2023 on Disney Channel's YouTube channel.
Synopsis[]
When the Calamity Box malfunctions, Anne Boonchuy and the Plantars are zapped to the Boiling Isles with Luz Noceda and The Owl House crew.[1]
Plot[]
Luz and King are relaxing in the Owl House when a flash of light goes off; when it ends, Anne and the Plantars appear. Luz happily recognizes the quartet, and they recognize her in return. However, Hooty coils around the new human and amphibians, mistaking them for intruders After Luz tells him to let them go, she embraces Anne.
To celebrate their reunion, Luz takes her temporary guests into Bonesborough for some sightseeing while Hop Pop works on fixing the Calamity Box. First, they stop by a photo booth. The girls go in first and take three pictures of them smiling, making duck lips, and pulling silly faces. The Plantars go in next and the booth is shaken up by a tentacle, ruining their last two pictures.
Next, Luz takes them to the movies. While she and Anne get to the theater, the Plantars are prevented from crossing the road due to oncoming traffic. Sprig and Polly refuse to wait and try crossing anyway, only to get run over and injured.
Finally, they stop at a street game booth where one tries to guess which cup has a ball under it (even though all of them do). When Polly makes her choice, a large red demon emerges from underneath and swallows up Anne and the Plantars. From within the demon's stomach, the Calamity Box activates, sending the quartet back to Amphibia.
Arriving in their living room, the Plantars cheer while Anne tears up since she didn't get to say goodbye to Luz. However, she finds their photos in her pocket and smiles, happy to have a souvenir of their time together.

- This short's score was composed by TJ Hill, who incorporated The Owl House Main Title Theme and Anne's Theme into the score.
- This is the first piece of The Owl House media Hill has scored since the Season 1 finale, "Young Blood, Old Souls" (although his scores for the Main Title Theme and the End Credit Theme played for most of Season 2).
- This is the second crossover between The Owl House and Amphibia, the first being the Amphibia and The Owl House crossover panel from San Diego Comic-Con 2021.
- The short's YouTube description mentions the term "Owlphibia," a portmanteau of owl and Amphibia used by fans of both series.
