Page 1/2[]
The first page is occupied mostly by text, along with two renditions of locations on the Titan. The first rendition is of its right hand, resting on the boiling sea. The second depicts the Knee, coated in snow, and trees, behind some clouds. The text offers insight into the Titan's origins, and speculates on the possibility of a race of gargantuan beasts, similar to the Titan.
The second page is completely occupied by a portrait of the Titan from afar, with the text "THE BOILING ISLES" as its header. A compass is located at the base of the drawing, with North aligned such that the Titan's head would be the northmost point of the Boiling Isles. Significant points on the Titan are visible, such as The Knee, the Titan's chest cavity (where Emperor Belos' Castle is situated) and a town situated just next to the Titan's left leg, assumedly Bonesborough.

The Boiling Isles, named after the raging hot water of the Boiling Sea, are composed of the bones of a fallen Titan. Throughout the ages, other monumental bones have been sighted in the Boiling Seas, raising the possibility that many such creatures stalked the Demon Realm in eons past. But, as yet, the Titan of the Boiling Isles remains the only complete skeleton known. Where did the Titans come from? How did they perish? I hope one day we can uncover these mysteries...

Before he ascended to the throne, Emperor Belos gained prominence as a crusader for unity during the Savage Ages. He believes that chaos comes from "wild magic" and seeks to bring peace by controlling such magic in his Coven System.
He rules by fear and an iron fist, and his past remains largely unknown. Nevertheless, the Savage Ages caused such devastation that many people have proved willing to follow him.
